Ask for the wishlist
You can be thoughtful and ask a direct question.

Them — “Okay, you can atpesa me towards the pottery class 🥹 I’ll send the wish link.”
Their atpesa.me page can hold a few wishes, from headphones to a birthday dinner. Each wish has a target and its own share link. They can add a photo and a shop or reference link to explain the idea.
You pick the wish, choose an amount and write a message. The available M-Pesa or card option handles the payment. You don’t need your own atpesa account to give.
Make the message part of the gift
“Happy birthday” is lovely. One tiny detail makes it theirs.
“Towards the headphones you send me every other Tuesday 😂 Happy birthday, favourite person. I’m calling dibs on the first playlist.”
